It’s also easy to open with just a hand wave, though the ring that holds the garbage bag in place is positioned quite low inside the can. I’d give it a B+ but am glad I got it because of my dogs.

It doesn’t come with the 2 AA batteries needed for the lid. The trash can is made from glossy white plastic with vertical lines that add strength. It’s sturdy yet lightweight, easy to change liners and manually remove the lid. The design is user-friendly and attractive. The motion sensor works well, giving you enough time to open, use, and close it again.
